1. Sharjah Arts Museum:

One of the largest Arts Museum in the UAE, this one of a kind state of the art facility was opened to the public in 1997 and features an exquisite permanent collection along with a few temporary exhibits as well. Among the collection you will be able to view priceless artwork belonging to H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah. This massive structure displays 72 galleries spread over 3 floors highlighting works of prominent Arabian artists.

2. Central Market:

This is market is the city’s most iconic and famous landmark. The delicate and exquisite blue tiles on the exterior lend a very soothing appearance to his place and has also earned the name as ‘Blue Souk’. This massive complex is home to more than 600 shops dedicated to exquisite perfume, jewelry and other items. The upper floor has the atmosphere of an authentic Arabian bazaar, with vendors selling antiques, carpets, Omani & Yemeni jewelry and other exotic souvenirs.

3. Sharjah Archaeology Museum:

This museum displays exhibits that trace the rich history of humanity and is a sight to behold. Displays in the Stone Age section include numerous flint pieces reflecting the technology for that period. On display you will also find ornamental gems and pottery shards from the Ubaid period that were discovered in Al Hamriyah and confirm the theories of trade relations that existed with Mesopotamia.

The Bronze Age hall displays archaeological treasures that includes a wide collection of pottery, metals, stone & jewelry. Each hall is unique and presents a plethora of archaeological treasures that are priceless.

4. Al Qasba:

This location is ideal of a peaceful evening getaway with a plethora of cafes and restaurants to choose from. The biggest and much talked about attraction is the 60 meter high ‘Eye of the Emirates’ observation wheel. Head up on this huge observation wheel and marvel at the beautiful view presented to you.
